Artist’s notes:

The cardinals is from the artist’s series “CAGES”. The red cardinal song bird (a highly admired finch found in Southeastern Canada, through the Eastern United States) is a sign of hope, loyalty and a reminder that our loved ones are always with us; often being thought of as a messenger bird providing a connection to lost friends or family members.

The etching was created at the legendary atelier and private gallery STUDIO 46 in Barcelona, where the artist often works. Each of the limited editions etchings are marked with a hand drawn version of the ateliers contemporary mark which was commission and designed by the artist JJ Walker.

PLEASE NOTE: The limited edition of 6 images are derived from the same plate. However the etching process is a labour intensive process in which each pressing has its own unique details. If you would like to see images of the remaining (available editions) please contacts at in**@jw*****.studio
