Artist’s notes:
The collector sweeps the earth looking for lost and discarded hearts (the metaphorical souls of others). Carefully preserving them until they are required. The hearts are cast by hand and are individual to each edition. The baskets are also unique: being made directly in wax (therefore lost’ in the casting process) to maintain their hand made feel. The figure carries 3 baskets and there are 4 individual bronze hearts. The figure is also available with a fourth basket (attached on the figure’s back) with a further heart, on request (see options for price change). Please note: a limited edition of the original sketch is also available in the shop section.
