The title of this work refers to the propaganda leaflet drop over Britain 1st-11th August 1940 by German bombers. These leaflets were entitled ‘A Last Appeal to Reason’ and were a translation of a speech given by Adolf Hitler to the Reichstag July 19th (at the Kroll opera house) of the same year.

Artist’s notes
Are we not currently part of the golden era of human prosperity? An historical blip of approximately 300 years, (1760-2060) beginning with the industrial revolution in Britain in the mid-18th century—marking a transition from manual labor to machine-based manufacturing. A period that contains two vicious world wars and will likely end in a radical human shift if we can’t shake our apathy and inertia and energetically abandon our current trajectory and heed the mounting messages of climate change, collective selfishness and capitalist ideology.
